A highly specialized technology manufacturing and research company needed a project management methodology to suit the dynamic nature of their projects. These are typically short-term high-risk prototype building activities which require nimble footwork given the short deadlines, limited budgets and the demand for early results.

How we helped:

Combining various keys areas of our expertise, Numerix devised a composite methodology which combined a decision making model (AHP), a tight-looped and agile planning process and an algorithm for selecting promising solution threads while dealing with the risk of dead-ends.

This approach, characterized by the 'Find Failure Fast' and 'Ready-Fire-Aim' philosophies, was presented to the company in the form of an enthusiastically received two-day training course for key personnel responsible for solution delivery.
